On Monday, 24 April 2023, Overman Foundation launched ‘Mayer Kol’ (meaning Mother’s Lap in Bengali), a free, non-formal school at Jadavganj in West Bengal to render education to the tribal children of the area. These children hail from underprivileged families and are first-generation learners. They are also provided with free books, bags and meals.
